Hazardous or unsafe crane operation

Overloading

Never attempt to overload the crane as overloading may damage the crane or cause the truck to fall over, leading to a serious accident.

Overloading

Extracting objects from the ground

Extracting objects from the ground may overstress the crane, causing the crane to break. Excavate buried objects in the ground before attempting to moving them with a crane.

Extracting objects from the ground

Dragging

Diagonally dragging cargo on the ground may overstress the crane to the point that it may break. Only move objects after they have been lifted with the hook.

Dragging

Standing below the crane when traveling on a slope.

URW094C / URW295C
When traveling on a slope, always operate the crane from the side that is elevated; never from the side that is lower. If the truck were to fall over, injury may occur.
The permissible angles of slopes for traveling are 20 degrees longitudinally and 10 degrees laterally.

Standing below the crane when traveling on a slope.

For other points to note, see the instruction manual.

After operation

Put the crane in the stowed position (boom stowing, lowering, slewing)

Move the relevant levers to stow everything but the hook. Raise the hook so that it does not touch the ground. Slew the crane so that it aligns with the stowed position sticker. (It automatically stops once in the stowed position.)

Stow the hook

Raise the hook until it stops automatically.
Afterward, toggle the stowing switch up to stow the hook.
